  1. I only had the chance to read chapter 1, but I will be back for more. Nice job, David! I’m impressed by your ambition to write a series. Good for you!

  2. Good job David. I so admire you for following through on your desire for creativity, doing more than simply thinking. You are more brave than I am though, because in my writing no one gets to read it until after the final draft.

  3. Hey David. Prologue was good. It has a hook to it and I would want to read more of the story. That is sometimes what is most important about a Prologue. Now to get to the middle of my compliment sandwich. It is a bit expository. I love a prologue that feels like it could be an excerpt from any other part of the series. This may be “our” introduction to the story but these characters have been living in it. I am intrigued with how the powers of prophesy will work in this magic system. If it is a many worlds interpretation or a single true world. The fact that they could use the power to show a possible future without the Primafolk seems to lean toward a many worlds version but maybe that is the difference between the Obsidian and the Opal. Anyways let me know if you are looking for more specific feedback and/or in you are looking for a Beta Reader. Good luck!
